What happens to the blood in the pool when you have your period?
Share
It's unlikely for your period to leak out as the pressure from the water should slow the flow of blood . If your flow is very heavy or you cough or sneeze, there's a slight chance that some blood may leak out. The reassuring news is that it's unlikely to be noticeable in the pool or sea as it will be diluted so much so it won't be noticeable. Especially when wearing a pair of Mynickerbot period swimmers. They will hold and keep the period blood safe in the lining of the period swimsuit hence keeping you free to swim in the pool or the ocean for as long as you feel comfortable.
Now I know you want to know what happens to the towel after you sit back down again? If you are wearing Mynickerbot swimmers you will be fine as they hold period blood and will keep the towel blood streak free. Always change your period swimmers depending on your flow however and don't leave them on all day but for a nice dip in the pool or ocean or for a pool party you will be fine. Keep checking when you go to the toilet and you will be fine. ( No peeing in the pool though!)
Our period swim bottoms can be worn on their own with your fave bikini top or they can be worn under your fave pair of swimmers. They have a cheeky style bottom so can easily be hidden under your own swimmers or school swimmers and they are also super slim and sleek so will NOT add bulk. They will absorb around 2 tampons worth of fluid. https://mynickerbot.com/products/tween-and-teen-period-swim-bikini-bottom
We also have period one piece squad style swim suits that have built in bras for added support. These will hold more blood or around 3 -4 tampons worth. Great for school swimming carnivals or lessons. Also great for surfing or swimming for longer periods whilst on your period. Look at these https://mynickerbot.com/products/period-proof-swimsuit-racer they are going to hold more than 2 tampons more like 3 and they have built in boob support for those with larger breasts to contain!
Happy swimming!
